Exceptional Hospitality and Unforgettable Experience at Manasota Beach Club We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Manasota Beach Club, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a special place, steeped in family tradition and generations of dedication. Even though they were dealing with the aftermath of a hurricane, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. A special shout-out goes to Buffy, who was the best host we could have asked for. Her kindness and warmth made us feel right at home. She took the time to check in on us and ensure we had everything we needed, despite the challenges the team was facing. Her dedication to the guests truly embodies the spirit of Manasota Beach Club. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the private beach. It’s a hidden gem, filled with beautiful shells and even shark teeth, making every walk along the shore a treasure hunt. The best part is the feeling of having the place to yourself—serene, untouched, and utterly relaxing. You can feel the history and love that has gone into making Manasota Beach Club what it is today. It’s a place where time slows down, and you can truly unwind. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We will be back soon Buffy! Our stay at Manasota Beach Club was simply perfect! It feels worlds away, like an "Old Florida" time capsule. The location is unparalleled -- we saw so much wildlife, and so few people! Hatching sea turtles, tarpon rolling in the distance, a ray jumping in front of the sunset, endless sharks' teeth on the beach, lots of reef fish just off the beach seen while snorkeling, the resident gopher tortoise ambling by during brunch, and a quick peek of a bobcat! When it was too hot on the beach, the kids really enjoyed the pool and exploring the grounds. Buffy and her staff were warm and welcoming, and the other guests were lovely to connect with. We can't wait to plan our next visit!

I had the privilege of staying here this week and it was really unlike anywhere I’ve stayed before. When you pull in, you feel like you’ve gone back in time to the classic Old Florida. This is a beloved family owned place, working on keeping the authenticity and natural elements intact. The beach is really the magic that ties it all together, I strolled it for hours and found almost 100 shark teeth just in the sand, saw a stunning sunset, and enjoyed the sound of waves throughout the night, no sound machine needed! Not too far from some great restaurants as well for meals. If you’re looking to truly disconnect, this is a wonderful place to do so.

All around AMAZING place to stay. The office lady was so sweet and very informative. The room was very clean and cozy. Having private access to the beach from your front door was very convenient for us. Definitely full 5 stars dont have anything negative to say.

If you're looking for a laid back old Florida experience, this is the place to come. All the cottages I've been in are clean and nicely appointed. The amenities are great, a nice pool, tennis courts if you feel ambitious, a library, a sitting room, an on site restaurant so you don't have to drive anywhere. The bonus is that it's right on the beach, so you can access the beach for a walk during the day, and watch the sun set over the gulf at night while listening to the waves roll into shore. Afterward you can spend the evening by the fire pit like a campfire night. It's a special place, and I highly recommend it.

We booked a weekend getaway and booked an additional night! I didn’t want to leave The staff is amazing. We stayed in the Gull. It is a just like stepping into a vintage beach house. Our beach house was very clean and comfortable. The view was great. The grounds are immaculate. I cannot say enough good things about Manasota Beach Club.

We were so fortunate to be able to hold my daughter's wedding at the Manasota Beach Club. From the moment we saw the grounds and met the staff there, we were sold. This is the most beautiful, perfect site to hold a wedding. Lynn and her staff were so accessible whenever we had questions or concerns. Since the site is so lovely, we barely had to decorate. They strung lights and lanterns for the reception which transformed it to a magical atmosphere. We held the rehearsal party at The Beach Club. It was very relaxed and comfortable. Everyone loved walking the grounds and enjoyed the site. The Beach Club worked well with all the vendors that we hired.They coordinated it so well. Everything worked so well and I never saw one thing that didn't work perfectly. The wedding was truly the "fairy tale" wedding that my daughter had wanted. With all the effort from Lynn at the Beach Club, we were able to achieve that. I highly recommend this venue when planning your special event.

This place is a hidden gem and unlike anything you can find these days. We spent a weekend here for some R&R and it was better than we could have anticipated. It's family owned and you can truly sense that, feeling right at home immediately. The care that goes into this property for it to keep it's old Florida feel and remain one with nature is impressive. Turtles, iguanas, and pelicans can be found throughout the property. We will definitely be back!
